We heard many good things about Calgary before venturing north. Our expectations for grassland meat were high. We also had high hopes for the coffee scene that we read so much about. Spoiler alert, all of it was great! Keeping reading to see where we went and what we'd recommend.

Our last stop in Banff National Park was at Lake Louise. A ski destination for professionals and enthusiasts, we came for the views, the lake and the chateau!Hiking in Alberta is definitely a summertime must but it's also very doable in the winter months. Plus, all those bears are hibernating so less of a risk to your life, am I right? We explored Johnston Canyon and took a drive along highway 93 to take in all the incredible scenery Alberta had to offer.After our three days in Calgary, we swapped the city bustle for some mountain views up in Banff National Park.In 2016, Our return flights from Paris got canceled and Air Canada gave us a discount voucher towards another trip with them in the future. Well, by the time November 2017 rolled around, we only had a month left to use that voucher so we decided to skip Thanksgiving and head to our neighbors to the north, Canada! |
