We all know it's a scary world out there. There are those who want to travel the world and there are others who we've heard say "Travel's great, but I'm not leaving this country!" And to them, there is absolutely comfort in the theory that if we stay put, we're safe. But the truth is, life happens... things are out of our control regardless of where we are. So just like here at home, we can arm ourselves from potential threats and try to stay as secure as possible while traveling.

Continuing our trip through South America, we traveled to Iguazu Falls which separates Argentina from Brazil. It was truly more incredible than we even thought possible. South America just kept surprising us with it's spectacular beauty.Naturally, it seems odd to think those two words go together. Traveling on a whim? Is that even feasible? Maybe a spontaneous day trip or a weekend away makes more sense. It's also probably easier to pick a destination you've always dreamed of visiting and then picking a date in the future to make it happen. Spontaneous travel isn't for everyone but for us, it's one of the most exciting ways to "plan" a trip and it can be cheaper than you think... We like the idea of letting the chips fall where they may and saying "Yes, let's do that this year!"
